Just before Christmas last year I started work on a very exciting project for this Christmas! I was asked to design a new kind of fabric Christmas advent calendar for one of my favourite fabric companies, Dashwood studio. I was able to came up with the concept right from the start which was great as I could choose the sizes of the draw string bags and also create all the artwork. What I decided to do was a series of 24 draw string bags, to look like a snowy street in winter, for each of the day running up to Christmas day.

Recently I have been lucky enough to see the early strike off of the design and make them up into the bags, pretty pleased with how its turned out, I have used a different colour ribbon for each draw string bag, hope you like them! The fabric panels, ready to sew yourself, will be in the shops later this year!
